Hydraulic motors have a higher rated operating pressure.
Large, durable motor shaft seal.
Come standard with hex driveshafts that allow the bit to be driven by the shaft instead of a retaining pin.

John Deere augers will enable you to increase efficiency while decreasing stress on your machine.

Heavy-duty gear design for long life and minimal maintenance.
Planetary gearbox housing this brings the planetary gear set closer to the motor.
Gearbox with updated input shaft is a more durable design.

Number of planetary gears in PA30B gearbox increased from three to five.
Max torque rating for PA30B increased from 4166 lb-ft to 4500 lb-ft (due to new gear box design and increase in gear reduction).
Required hydraulic oil-flow rate is:
- 23–64 L/min (6–17 gpm) for PA15B.
- 57–114 L/min (15–30 gpm) for PA30B.
Required high-flow hydraulic oil-flow rate is 106–160 L/min (28–42 gpm) for PA40.
